Cheers for the enthusiasm for the Mixtapes. I had a lot of requests from the forums etc I had posted them on so I made a vol. 21 which was essentially my favourites from the blog so far. Keep up the reccomendations, really enjoying them. With regards to your other post, I’m a huge fan of that album. They have another one too, an Austrailian release, ‘Drum & Bass Anthems’ or something. Waiting to get hold of the unmixed version, or at least one with a cue file!

Download ‘Kidz in Space - Ghost (True Tiger Remix)’
Those of you from the UK who tuned into Mista Jam’s ‘UK Funky vs Grime vs Dubstep vs Bassline’ show will know that True Tiger are a force to be reckoned with when it comes to dubstep. Being robbed of the win in the final round by…
An absolute stonker of a tune courtesy of The 16th Hour. Go & follow if you aren’t already. Huge vibes from their blog.
Download: Slugabed - Here You Are
Slugabed is probably my favourite musician in the whole whomp, wonky, glitch, whatever it is being called these days, movement and I’ve been following him since the first track I heard a few years back. So I was pretty happy to see him tweet about a free track last night. 20ShotSequence posted up the free track along with a list of Top 5’s from Slugabed. Grab the free track and pick up the EP it’s featured on if you fancy too!
Gettit now.
Hi, thanks for the message. I’d liek to think I have a ‘nice’ taste in music, but then i think everyone probably thinks they do.
I have the new one from Flux Pavillion. not a massive fan of it. Overhyped radio play has already led me to be sick of it. Nice to hear a different sound from him though, but in all honesty, I see Flux Pavillion as a producer who simply makes bassless ‘anthems’ to laugh at whilst sober, or go mental for when drunk.
As for Borgore, that track is ridiculous. I like Borgore for the reason that he has created his own subgenre and has never at any point (to my knowledge) claimed to be dubstep. That being said, most of his stuff I hate. There are few tracks that hold comedy value and some that are brilliant. the most recent one I have loved was the Passion Pit remix of Sleepyhead, which is absolutely fantastic.
Thanks for the reccomendations anyway. Anymore you have throw them my way. If you have any direct track requests I’ll do my best to find them.
Spread the word and thanks again,
FS.
I put the remix of the Jeuce tune on the last Mixtape I did (Vol. 20). I’m a big fan of their stuff but it does get a bit ‘much’ at times. I’ll check out the other ones though. Any further reccomendations do let me know!
